I write poetry, sometimes. It's more usual for me to write prose, but sometimes I do have a go at poetry, and I find it quite fun! I'm not sure if this counts as a poem, but it's certainly adjacent.

Most of my writing ideas come as a random string of words, or an idea for a character, and I have to kind of spin them into something that works as a story. This, while not a story, as such, was no exception. I really enjoy the idea of the Ouroboros (I'm not sure why), and I really enjoy stories about timeloops and time travel. This just kind of sprung from the idea of a character looking up where to buy a time machine, and all of those things found their way into it.

Along the way, I worked out some more things about this character that I couldn't really fit into their search history, so I might end up writing a prose story about them at some point anyway - we'll have to wait and see!
